September 5, 2024: Social Circle, GA 30025 Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA), 32-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Social Circle advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Redskins host Athens Academy (Athens, GA) to play the Spartans in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 26. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Athens Academy won 26-7 in their recent non-league battle against Putnam County (Eatonton, GA)
The Patriots now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Oconee County for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12.
