September 5, 2024: Lovington, NM 88260 Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hobbs advances its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Chaparral (Chaparral, NM) to clash with the Lobos in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Lobos come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Wildcats now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Carlsbad for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14.
