September 5, 2024: Wakefield, RI 02879 The Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) volleyball knocked off the visiting Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Crusaders now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Cranston East for a non-league bout on Monday, September 9. Prout will clash with a Thunderbolts team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Mt. Hope drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to St. Mary Academy-Bay View (East Providence, RI) to clash with the Bengals in a non-league bout on Monday, September 9. The Bengals come into the bout with a record of 0-3. St. Mary Academy-Bay View lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI)
