September 5, 2024: St. Paul, MN Washington Tech Eagles (St. Paul, MN) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Johnson Governors (St. Paul, MN), 3-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Washington Tech advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Como Park (St. Paul, MN) to clash with the Cougars in a Class A Section 4 test on Saturday, September 7. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 3-1. Como Park lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Highland Park (St. Paul, MN)
The Governors now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Humboldt for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Johnson will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to St. Paul Central (St. Paul, MN). The Hawks record now stands at 2-2.
