September 5, 2024: Sterling, OK 73567 The Sterling Tigers softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Lexington Bulldogs to 4 in the Tigers non-league win on Thursday.
The Tigers now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blanchard for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. Sterling will confront a Lions team coming off a 11-3 non-league win over Duncan (Duncan, OK). The Lions record now stands at 13-3.
With the loss, Lexington moves to 8-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Jones (Jones, OK) to confront the Longhorns in a 3A bout on Monday, September 9. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Jones won 6-1 in their recent league bout against Kingston (Kingston, OK)
