Georgia High School Volleyball - New Manchester over Banneker
September 5, 2024: Douglasville, GA 30135 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA) and the visiting Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA), observed New Manchester's volleyball team top Banneker by a count of 2-0.
The Jaguar (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against South Paulding (Douglasville, GA). The Spartans enter the 5A Area 5 contest with a 11-11 record. In their last contest, South Paulding notched a victory over North Clayton (College Park, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Trojans clash with the Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA) in a 5A Area 3 bout, on Tuesday, September 10. Banneker will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 18-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Riverdale (Riverdale, GA).
