Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Eastern Hancock Royals (Charlottesville, IN) and the host Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN), observed Eastern Hancock's volleyball team top Blue River Valley by a count of 3-0.

The Royals (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Union (Modoc, IN). The Rockets enter the Mid-Eastern contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Union was knocked off by Tri (Straughn, IN), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Vikings meet the Liberty Christian Lions (Anderson, IN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 10. Blue River Valley will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Muncie Burris (Muncie, IN).
