Texas High School Volleyball - Carthage can't get by Whitehouse
September 5, 2024: Whitehouse, TX 75791 Whitehouse Wildcats (Whitehouse, TX) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Carthage Bulldogs (Carthage, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Whitehouse advances its record to 19-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Tyler (Tyler, TX) to face the Lions in a 5A Region II District 15 test on Friday, September 6. The Lions go into the test with a record of 7-12. Tyler lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Texas (Texarkana, TX)
The Bulldogs now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty-Eylau for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. Carthage will face a Leopards squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Paris (Paris, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 2-9.
