With the win, Central Montcalm improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Hornets travel to Kent City (Kent City, MI) to encounter the Eagles in a Central State battle on Tuesday, September 10. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 5-3. Kent City lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Shelby (Shelby, MI)
The Mountaineers now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calhoun Christian for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 7. Zion Christian will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Will Carleton Academy (Hillsdale, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
