The Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) volleyball knocked off the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 3-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Blackhawks now possess a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Wes-Del for a Mid-Eastern bout on Wednesday, September 11. Cowan will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Tipton (Tipton, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Monroe Central drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Golden bears travel to Winchester Community (Winchester, IN) to clash with the Golden Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 10.
