Texas High School Volleyball - Griffin School bounced by Meridian
September 5, 2024: Austin, TX 78751 Meridian Lions (Round Rock, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Griffin School Griffins (Austin, TX), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Meridian improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Lions host Round Top-Carmine (Carmine, TX) to encounter the Cubs in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Cubs go into the test with a record of 8-12. Round Top-Carmine lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX)
The Griffins now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Michael's for a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. Griffin School will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over St. Andrew's (Austin, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 15-11.
