The Miller Grove Wolverines tipped the host Southwest DeKalb Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Wolverines (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Atlanta (Atlanta, GA). The Hornets come into the 2A Area 6 challenge with a 1-4 record.

Next, the Panthers play the Druid Hills Red Devils (Atlanta, GA) in a 4A Area 5 challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Southwest DeKalb will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Galloway (Atlanta, GA).
