September 5, 2024: Americus, GA 31709 Sumter County Panthers (Americus, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Northeast Raiders (Macon, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sumter County improves its record to 7-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Shaw (Columbus, GA) to encounter the Raiders in a 2A Area 1 test on Tuesday, September 10. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 4-7. Shaw lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Brookstone (Columbus, GA)
