In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host The Covenant Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Virginia Academy Patriots .

The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Spotsylvania was beaten by Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots meet the Covenant Christian Academy Golden Eagles (Warrenton, VA) in a challenge, on Monday, September 9. Virginia Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
