The Hornets now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Spur for a non-league game on Friday, September 12. Aspermont will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-14 non-league loss to Ira (Ira, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Kress (Kress, TX). The Kangaroos enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Kress overwhelmed Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX), 54-32, in a non-league game.
