September 5, 2025: Riverton, KS 66770 Baxter Springs Lions (Baxter Springs, KS) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Riverton Rams (Riverton, KS), 29-18 in a league battle.
With the win, Baxter Springs improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions host Afton (Afton, OK) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-0.
