In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Benson Bunnies football team scored a nice 21-6 win over the Buena Vista Bison.

In their next game, the Bunnies play the Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Benson will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Rockets go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 42-0 non-league win over Bryan (Omaha, NE).

The Bison (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE). The Huskies come into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Omaha Northwest was defeated by Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE), 34-6, in a non-league test.
