In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Bishop Kelly Knights football squad scored a decisive 62-14 triumph over the Minico Spartans.

The Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Rigby (Rigby, ID). The Trojans come into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Rigby routed Syracuse (Syracuse, UT), 42-38, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Spartans meet the Jerome Tigers (Jerome, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho - River challenge, on Friday, September 12. Minico will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 56-14 league loss to Twin Falls (Twin Falls, ID).
