St. Albans Bulldogs (Washington, DC) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA), 42-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, St. Albans improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC) to play the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, September 12. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 0-2. Jackson-Reed lost 50-0 in their recent non-league match against Yorktown (Arlington, VA)

Coming up next, the Knights meet the St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 13.
