South Carolina High School Football - Polk County knocked off by Blue Ridge

September 5, 2025: Greer, SC 29651

In Friday's non-league game, the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC) football team overcame the visiting Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC), by a tally of 35-19.

In their next game, the Fighting Tigers battle the Eastside Eagles (Taylors, SC) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 12. Blue Ridge will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 62-8 non-league win over Carolina Academy (Greenville, SC).

The Wolverines (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Patton was toppled by Owen (Black Mountain, NC), 22-7, in a non-league game.
