September 5, 2025: Boonton, NJ 07005 The Boonton Bombers football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Parsippany Redhawks to 24 in the Bombers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bombers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whippany Park for a Super - National Blue challenge on Friday, September 12. Boonton will face a Wildcats team coming off a 27-14 non-league loss to Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
The Redhawks (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ). The Golden Panthers go into the Super - American White challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Pequannock lost by Mountain Lakes (Mountain Lakes, NJ), 49-14, in a league challenge.
