The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Brady Bulldogs (Brady, TX) and the host Mason Punchers (Mason, TX), witnessed Brady's football squad edge Mason by a tally of 24-22.

The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Ozona (Ozona, TX). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Ozona got by Eldorado (Eldorado, TX), 76-29, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Punchers battle the Coleman Bluecats (Coleman, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 12. Mason will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Bluecats go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 28-14 non-league loss to Clifton (Clifton, TX).
