Texas High School Football - Savio can't hold off Brentwood Christian

The Brentwood Christian Bears got by the host Savio Eagles football team by a score of 27-24 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears meet the Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions (Magnolia, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 12. Brentwood Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 43-0 non-league loss to Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX).

The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hyde Park (Austin, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Hyde Park was edged by Lutheran South Academy (Houston, TX), 38-17, in a non-league challenge.
