In Friday's non-league game, the Brusly Panthers (Brusly, LA) football team triumphed over the host Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA), by a tally of 42-6.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Broadmoor Buccaneers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 4A District 6 outing, on Friday, September 12. Brusly will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
