The Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) football trounced the visiting Bryan Bears (Omaha, NE), 42-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Rockets now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benson for a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. Lincoln Northeast will clash with a Bunnies squad coming off a 21-6 non-league win over Buena Vista (Omaha, NE). The Bunnies record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Bryan drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bears host South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE) to face the Cardinals in a non-league game on Friday, September 12. The Cardinals enter the game with a record of 0-2. South Sioux City lost 19-7 in their recent non-league outing against Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA)
