The Cary Imps edged the visiting Willow Spring Storm football team by a score of 31-24 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Imps face the Green Level Gators (Cary, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, September 12. Cary will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Gators come into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 41-26 non-league loss to Enloe (Raleigh, NC).

With the defeat, Willow Spring drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC) to clash with the Bengals in a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. The Bengals enter the game with a record of 2-1. Fuquay - Varina won 35-0 in their recent non-league game against Triton (Erwin, NC)
