The Castleberry Lions football squad scored 43 points and limited the host South Hills Scorpions to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bridgeport for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. Castleberry will face a Bulls team coming off a 21-14 non-league loss to Bowie (Bowie, TX). The Bulls record now stands at 0-2.

The Scorpions (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A-1 Region I District 4 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Trimble Tech was ripped by Turner (Carrollton, TX), 12-0, in a non-league challenge.
