September 5, 2025: Casselton, ND 58012 The Devils Lake Firebirds edged the host Central Cass Squirrels football team by a score of 28-21 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Firebirds face the Wahpeton Huskies (Wahpeton, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Devils Lake will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Huskies come into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 39-12 non-league loss to Watford City (Watford City, ND).
The Squirrels (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Jamestown (Jamestown, ND). The Bluejays enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Jamestown was edged by Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND), 39-7, in a non-league game.
