Iowa High School Football - Clarke prevails Saydel
September 5, 2025: Des Moines, IA 50313 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Clarke Indians football squad scored a good 10-0 triumph over the Saydel Eagles.
The Indians (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Interstate 35 (Truro, IA). The Roadrunners come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Interstate 35 was beaten by Underwood (Underwood, IA), 49-6, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Des Moines North for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. Saydel will play a Polar Bears team coming off a 24-7 non-league win over Lincoln (Des Moines, IA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 1-1.
