The Clovis West Golden Eagles felled the visiting Edison Vikings football team by a score of 23-13 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Edison for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Clovis West will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 48-30 non-league loss to Buchanan (Clovis, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Edison drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Central East (Fresno, CA) to face the Bengals in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. The Bengals enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Central East won 44-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Turlock (Turlock, CA)
