In their next game, the Comets face the Detroit Collegiate Prep (Detroit, MI) in a Detroit Public 2 challenge, on Friday, September 12. Cody will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 40-6 non-league loss to Summerfield (Petersburg, MI).
The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, MI). The Bearcats go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Bridgeport was defeated by Freeland (Freeland, MI), 60-0, in a league test.
