Collegiate Cougars (Richmond, VA) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA), 45-21 in a non-league match.

The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA). The Saints come into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy defeated Atlantic Shores Christian (Chesapeake, VA), 22-20, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Panthers meet the DuVal Tigers (Lanham, MD) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 8. Potomac School will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 22-0 non-league loss to Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD).
