Hudson Cobras (Hudson, FL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Cypress Creek Coyotes (Wesley Chapel, FL), 29-22 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Hudson improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Cobras host Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, FL) to meet the Sharks in a 3A District 9 test on Friday, September 12. The Sharks come into the test with a record of 2-1. Nature Coast Tech won 35-26 in their recent non-league test against Lecanto (Lecanto, FL)

With the defeat, Cypress Creek drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to River Ridge (New Port Richey, FL) to meet the Royal Knights in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Royal Knights come into the test with a record of 3-0. River Ridge won 21-0 in their recent non-league test against Fivay (Hudson, FL)
