DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Imhotep Charter Panthers (Philadelphia, PA), 30-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, DeMatha improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Stags travel to Roman Catholic (Philadelphia, PA) to play the Cahillite in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Cahillite come into the match with a record of 2-1. Roman Catholic won 21-12 in their recent non-league match against Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (Philadelphia, PA)

Coming up next, the Panthers meet the Malvern Prep Friars (Malvern, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Imhotep Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Friars come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 29-0 non-league win over Delbarton (Morristown, NJ).
