Maryland High School Football - DePaul Catholic can't hold off Our Lady of Good Counsel

The Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons held off the visiting DePaul Catholic Spartans football squad by a margin of 21-20 in Friday's non-league test.

The Falcons now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Middletown for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Our Lady of Good Counsel will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 13-8 non-league loss to Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, DePaul Catholic drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY) to face the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Archbishop Stepinac won 23-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Catholic (Lawrence, MA)
