The Dinwiddie Generals football squad scored 55 points and limited the host Granby Comets to 6 in the Generals non-league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Generals face the Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Dinwiddie will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Springers enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 17-14 non-league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC).

The Comets (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA). The Truckers enter the Eastern challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Churchland bounced Bethel (Hampton, VA), 29-28, in a non-league test.
