The Eagle Pass Eagles (Eagle Pass, TX) football tipped the visiting Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX), 29-28 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 19. Eagle Pass will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.

The Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Marshall (San Antonio, TX). The Rams enter the 6A Region IV District 28 game with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Marshall was nipped by Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX), 51-20, in a non-league outing.
