Ohio High School Football - Springfield thwarted by Findlay
September 5, 2025: Findlay, OH 45840 Findlay Trojans (Findlay, OH) fans exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team overcome the visiting Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH), 28-7 in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans play the Southview Cougars (Sylvania, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Findlay will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 48-0 non-league loss to Whitmer (Toledo, OH).
With the defeat, Springfield drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH) to meet the Yellow Jackets in a Northern Lakes - Buckeye test on Friday, September 12. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a record of 2-1. Perrysburg won 31-0 in their recent league challenge against Ross (Fremont, OH)
