Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV), 40-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Fort Frye improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cadets travel to Waterford (Waterford, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Waterford won 49-0 in their recent non-league test against Shenandoah (Sarahsville, OH)

With the defeat, Wheeling Central Catholic drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Maroon knights travel to Williamstown (Williamstown, WV) to meet the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 0-1. Williamstown lost 26-25 in their recent non-league test against James Monroe (Lindside, WV)
