Kentucky High School Football - Lafayette falls to Franklin-Simpson
September 5, 2025: Lexington, KY 40503 The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats felled the host Lafayette Generals football team by a score of 35-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Russellville Panthers (Russellville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Franklin-Simpson will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 45-0 non-league loss to Logan County (Russellville, KY).
The Generals (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY). The Rockets go into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Shelby County lost by Collins (Shelbyville, KY), 43-0, in a non-league challenge.
