The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Warren Dragons (Warren, PA) and the host Franklin Knights (Franklin, PA), witnessed Warren's football squad topple Franklin by a tally of 14-6.

The Dragons (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA). The Ramblers enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Cathedral Prep was outscored by Riverside (Painesville, OH), 26-7, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Knights encounter the General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) in a District 10 Region 6 bout, on Friday, September 12. Franklin will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 28-7 league win over Oil City (Oil City, PA).
