The Westminster Owls football team (Westminster, MD), was tipped 12-10 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Franklin Indians (Reisterstown, MD)

With the win, Franklin betters its record to 1-0 on the year. The Indians host Parkville (Baltimore, MD) to confront the Knights in a non-league contest on Friday, September 12. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Parkville won 20-14 in their recent non-league contest against SEED (Baltimore, MD)
