North Carolina High School Football - Middle Creek thwarted by Garner

Garner Trojans (Garner, NC) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad top the visiting Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), 41-17 in a non-league test.

The Trojans now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host D.H. Conley for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Garner will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 29-26 non-league loss to Farmville Central (Farmville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Middle Creek drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-0. Eastern Wayne won 18-3 in their recent non-league test against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC)
