September 5, 2025: Keene, NH 03431 The Keene Blackbirds football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Goffstown Grizzlies to 21 in the Blackbirds non-league triumph on Friday.
The Blackbirds now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spaulding for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Keene will meet a Red Raiders squad coming off a 24-13 non-league loss to Winnacunnet (Hampton, NH). The Red Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Goffstown drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Nashua North (Nashua, NH) to meet the Titans in a Division I - West test on Friday, September 12. The Titans come into the test with a record of 1-0. Nashua North won 31-7 in their recent non-league test against Manchester Central (Manchester, NH)
