The Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders felled the host Malcolm Clippers football team by a score of 27-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Crusaders play the Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Grand Island Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Wood River (Wood River, NE).
