Alabama High School Football - Hazel Green thwarted by Mae Jemison
September 5, 2025: Huntsville, AL 35810 Mae Jemison Jaguars (Huntsville, AL) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Hazel Green Trojans (Hazel Green, AL), 14-6 in a league battle.
With the triumph, Mae Jemison upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL) to confront the Wildcats in a 6A Region 8 match on Friday, September 19. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 1-1.
Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Buckhorn Bucks (New Market, AL) in a 6A Region 8 battle, on Friday, September 12. Hazel Green will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Bucks go into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 31-6 league loss to Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL).
