The Walton Braves got by the visiting Holmes County Blue Devils football team by a score of 19-18 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Braves face the West Florida Jaguars (Pensacola, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Walton will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 34-14 non-league win over Fort Walton Beach (Fort Walton Beach, FL).

The Blue Devils (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rutherford (Panama City, FL). The Rams come into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Rutherford was nipped by Chipley (Chipley, FL), 39-26, in a non-league test.
