In Friday's non-league outing, the Roger Bacon Spartans (Cincinnati, OH) football squad knocked off the visiting Hughes BIG RED (Cincinnati, OH), by a margin of 35-8.

The Spartans now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Archbishop McNicholas for a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. Roger Bacon will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 29-7 non-league loss to Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 1-2.
