In Friday's non-league game, the Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH) football team were victorious over the visiting Perry Pirates (Perry, OH), by a score of 44-24.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Fairview Warriors (Fairview Park, OH) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 12. Kirtland will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 2-1 record after their 63-28 non-league win over Orange (Pepper Pike, OH).
