In Friday's non-league game, the Laker Lakers (Pigeon, MI) football team triumphed over the visiting Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI), by a score of 36-0.

The Lakers now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cass City for a Big Thumb - White outing on Friday, September 12. Laker will clash with a Red Hawks squad coming off a 53-0 non-league win over Hemlock (Hemlock, MI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 1-1.
